About EROAD:
EROAD is a true a kiwi success story in the tech sector! From a start up they are continuing to grow rapidly, with over 750 EROADers based in NZ, Australia and the USA. Using cutting edge technology to solve complex problem, there are not many NZ business with you will get the exposure to such a wide range of technology as you will here.
About speaker:
Yin Long has been working as a data scientist since 2017 and has great experience with Air NZ , Auckland Transport and now at Eroad. He has worked and led on a wide range of projects including traditional data science projects such as predictive modelling, natural language processing and telematics data at Eroad. Exclusively, GIS data has been used to address important issues of the road network and provide insights and research, aiming at improve the safety and efficiency of the road network. This Thursday, Yin is going to talk about how Eroad uses data science to improve NZ road network.
